Bradley Cooper’s Oscar nominations increased from four to seven with the release of “A Star Is Born.” During a recent interview, Cooper recalled an occasion in which a well-known director insulted his seven Academy Award nominations. Bradley claimed that during awards season, he was joined by an actress he referred to as a “close friend” who had received three Academy Award nominations.

Cooper asked the director why the actress had only three nominations but Bradley had seven. The actor retorted by asking why the director was being such an “a hole.” Cooper warned the presenter that such an insult would stay with him forever. Bradley Cooper stated that a famous filmmaker and actor insulted him for earning seven Oscar nominations.

Cooper revealed the incident in a recent podcast while attending an award season party for his film ‘A Star Is Born.’ At the gathering, the filmmaker who criticized ‘The Hangover’ actor was also present. Cooper was accompanied at the ceremony by a friend and an actress who had also received three Oscar nominations. What society are we living in where you get seven nominations and she only has three? the director teased Cooper.

Cooper said on the show that he felt like telling the director, “Bro, why are you such an asshole?” at the time of the incident. He added that he would never forget that. Cooper, on the other hand, has been the recipient of such dismissive remarks in the past. Cooper claimed that a “female actor” had insulted him for receiving his first Oscar nomination for Jennifer Lawrence’s picture “Silver Linings Playbook.”

Cooper echoed what the woman had said, that he watched your film. You are deserving of the award. Cooper would play Bernstein alongside Carey Mulligan, who would play Bernstein’s wife, Felicia Montealegre. Cooper just appeared on Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett’s Smartness podcast in a new edition. During the honest talk, he discussed the backlash he received from other actors and directors in response to his nominations.

When asked about it, Bradley Cooper revealed that “Maestro” is a film about marriage and family. In the meantime, the actor has received a total of nine Oscar nominations. Both “Joker” and “Nightmare Alley,” which he co-produced, competed for the Academy Award for “Best Picture.” Bradley will play the title role in the film, which is based on the life of Leonard Bernstein. “Maestro” has generated quite a stir after the largest streaming site released first-look photographs of the actor in a never-before-seen avatar.
