Cooper revealed the incident in a recent podcast while attending an award season party for his film ‘A Star Is Born.’ At the gathering, the filmmaker who criticized ‘The Hangover’ actor was also present. Cooper was accompanied at the ceremony by a friend and an actress who had also received three Oscar nominations. Cooper said on the show that he felt like telling the director, “Bro, why are you such an asshole?” at the time of the incident. He added that he would never forget that. Cooper, on the other hand, has been the recipient of such dismissive remarks in the past. Cooper claimed that a “female actor” had insulted him for receiving his first Oscar nomination for Jennifer Lawrence’s picture “Silver Linings Playbook.”
