It looks like the contract has been signed and sealed because WWE is starting to tease the return of Cody Rhodes.

During a promo for The Miz when he talked about his tag team partner, he referred to him as “Dashing” and apparently made fun of Cody Rhodes as his partner. Rhodes was referred to as “Dashing” Cody Rhodes for a short time during his WWE debut. The Miz finally revealed that it wasn’t Cody but Logan Paul who would be his WrestleMania partner. The mention of “DASHING” was also included in a tweet on the official WWE Twitter account.

Later during the Edge clip, the WWE Twitter account referred to “Smoke and Mirrors,” which was also the name of Cody’s old WWE song.

Now obviously he signed because WWE wouldn’t tease Cody Rhodes if he wasn’t coming. Furthermore, PWInsider reported that Rhodes was in Orlando over the weekend and was scheduled to rehearse at the Performance Center. There is no word on when he will actually debut and who he will face at WrestleMania 38.
