In a heartbreaking statement, Herzonizos Meyer Of Ukraine Described the situation in the city on CNN, now that the weapons are out, the Ukrainian army has been defeated and Russia Drowning.

Mayor Igor Kolikayev’s statement was broadcast by CNN. Kolikayev characteristically said: “We have no weapons to counter the Russian forces encircling the city. The inhabitants of Herzonis are unarmed.

He noted that the Ukrainian army was no longer in the city: “We have no army in the city. The army has been defeated. The Ukrainian army had to retreat. They have retreated to the city of Nikolaev.”

“Russian troops are everywhere,” he said.

He added that Russian troops would not leave unless the Ukrainian army arrived in the city, adding that the only way to get help was from Russian Crimea.

“We have cancer patients and children in need of medicine,” he said. “So far we have not been able to give them medicine.”
