Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl On the Nintendo Switch it has now been updated to version 1.2.0.
This is perhaps the biggest update yet – with Federation Chamber functions now expanded, the Colosseum Battle feature added, bug fixes and more. Here are the full details for the Nintendo support page:
Version 1.2.0 (released February 21, 2022)
The functions of the Federation Chamber were expanded.
– The maximum number of players you can play with locally or online in Union Rooms has been increased to eight. Also, by selecting the Welcome or Capsule Decorations, you can show off Coach Cards or Capsule Decorations to each other.
Additional Colosseum Battle feature added.
– Enter the Colosseum on the second floor of the Pokémon Center to fight with other players using custom rules.
– In the Colosseum, you can set the rules, such as the number of Pokemon to send into battle as well as their levels, and play single battles, double battles, or multiplayer battles over local or online.
Pokemon trade and battles
– Some Pokémon acquired through unintended ways or illegal modification cannot be used in Link Trades or Link Battles.
Some issues have been fixed for more fun gameplay.
Early data from the latest update also indicates that the game can now detect cloned Pokemon. Home support may be added soon as well:
