The important question is whether Russia should recognize all these territories, which means the expansion of territorial integrity in Ukraine.
Members of the State Duma today gave a new dimension to the fact that Moscow is expected to recognize the borders in the wake of the 2014 referendum, when Russian allies also declared their independence. However, some of these territories are completely under the control of Ukrainian forces.
Light is expected in a few more hours when the State Duma’s international relations and security committees meet.
At the same time, Donetsk and Lukansk are expected to immediately sign the relevant decrees issued late by Moscow.
