WWE's board is examining a $3 million hush-money deal CEO Vince McMahon paid a woman over an alleged affair
The January agreement prevents the paralegal from discussing her contact with McMahon or criticising the CEO
WWE is cooperating with the board's investigation, and McMahon's connection with the woman was consensual, a spokesman said.
McMahon, 76, is married to Linda McMahon, who was WWE CEO and SBA leader in the Trump administration.
The report stated the board's April probe found nondisclosure pacts relating to other women's misbehaviour claims at WWE.
These agreements involved McMahon and WWE talent exec John Laurinaitis.
The board hired Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP to investigate. The firm didn't immediately respond to anyone.
Jerry McDevitt, McMahon's lawyer, told the former employee didn't accuse McMahon of harassment. He reportedly alleged WWE didn't pay her.
