The Maine Revenue Services website lets consumers check on their $850 inflation relief payments.
Over 850,000 Mainers are expected to get the cheques.
The Department of Administrative and Financial Services mailed 5,000 relief payments Thursday, June 2.
The state claimed 200,000 checks per week would be mailed after that. All checks should be in Mainers' hands by mid-July, per the governor's office.
Multiple viewers tried to check their checks but couldn't. The state told them the status of their checks won't appear online until they're processed.
Full-year Maine residents file a 2021 income tax return by Oct. 31, 2022 and not dependent on anyone's 2021 Maine tax return are eligible
If 2021 Maine income tax FAGI was less than $100,000 (single), $150,000 (head of household), or $200,000 (married joint) then eligible
The state says relief funds will be mailed to the address on your 2021 Maine individual income tax return and to any forwarding addresses submitted with the USPS.
