Amber Heard Breaks Silence: I Don't Blame Jury

Amber Heard gives her first interview since the decision in her defamation lawsuit, saying she doesn't "blame" the jury for siding with Johnny Depp

I don't blame them people know and like him. Fantastic actor of Depp, she said.

Heard termed the social media frenzy surrounding her case "unfair" because TikTok and Twitter posts favoured Depp during the six-week trial.

The hashtag "Justice for Amber Heard" on TikTok earned 27 million views, while one for Johnny Depp garnered 20 billion.

"I don't care what people think about me or what happened in my home, marriage, behind closed doors. I don't assume most people know this. I don't take offence "say

Heard countersued Depp for $100 million based on three statements made by Depp's former attorney Adam Waldman in which he called Heard's allegations of abusing a "hoax."

On June 1, the jury determined Heard defamed Depp and injured his career with domestic abuse charges, awarding him $15 million in damages.

Elaine Bredehoft, Heard's attorney, claimed  Heard will appeal and can't pay the $10.4 million judgement.
