MILLIONS of taxpayers are eligible for up to $1,000 in rebates, but the deadline is approaching quickly.
If they apply by a fast-approaching deadline, qualifying full-time residents in Colorado will get tax rebates – projected to be worth at least $500 for single filers, according to KKTV 11 News.
The rebate payouts for couples are expected to be $1,000.
The deadline to collect a check was originally set for May 31, but it has now been pushed back to June 30.
Residents of the Centennial State only need to file a tax return for the year 2021 to be eligible for a payout.
According to the state, those who have already submitted their returns can expect to get their money in the mail in August or September.
Those who have not yet received their payments will not receive them until January 2023.
The final wave of stimulus money was distributed by the federal government in March of last year.
